Da’Leon Ward led Skyline to an emphatic 56-30 victory over fellow Dallas high school Jesuit on Friday, October 3. The junior scored three long touchdowns, picking up 224 yards along the way.
The game looked like it was going to be tight early on. Skyline led after the first 7-3. Then in the second, both teams exploded with offense. The Raiders marked four touchdowns in the quarter, with Jesuit close behind with three, to bring the score to 35-24 by the half.
The second half was all Skyline. The Raiders put up 14 points in the third while keeping Jesuit off the board. In the fourth, Skyline added on another touchdown to its tally and the Rangers managed six points.
By the final whistle, Skyline walked away with an impressive 26-point win.
Now 5-0, Skyline continues to climb the DigitalSports National Football Rankings. The Raiders currently sit in 18th in the nation and 3rd in Texas and look to continue working their way up.
